About Me.

picture of meMy name is Kristopher Miller. I am a graphic designer / web designer / screen printer / property manager / husband / father living in the Queen City (Buffalo, NY.)  I am currently the Lead Designer at The University at Buffalo Libraries and a freelancer for various clients.

My background includes designing for companies in the fields of higher education, technology and non-profit.  While I still do a lot of print material for various clients, my focus lately has been on HTML5, CSS3 and Responsive Web Design. I feel it’s a real exciting time to be building websites, with browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera pushing the web forward. Designing for mobile has also been a real eye opener and has changed the way we think about design. The content has become the focus.

When I am not doing design work, I am spending time with my beautiful wife, daughter and newborn son.  I enjoy a great craft brew, playing roller hockey at least a couple times a week, working on our Queen City home, silk screening and some good indie/brit rock music.

About this site

This site has been designed with WordPress so I could post my work and ramblings easier. I’ve also incorporated all my social networking contact info at the top of the site.  Feel free to contact me anyway you see fit. I do plan on making my site responsive, just need to find the time. When I do make it responsive, I will probably redesign the whole site. In the meantime, I’m going to try and post random things at least 2 times a week.  Since this is my personal site, sometimes you might see it broken as I tend to experiment with CSS and HTML.
